Justine Lewkowicz is a Murrow award-winning reporter and news anchor with Newstalk 1010 radio. She has covered stories that range from mayor Rob Ford’s crack cocaine admission, to the Danzig St shooting, to the devastating fatal crash in Hampstead, Ontario.
In 2011, Justine won an Edward R. Murrow Award for feature reporting for her coverage of the Toronto International Film Festival. Her award-winning submission, “Chasing the paparazzi at TIFF,” took a unique behind-the-scenes look at the hectic job of an independent photographer.
When she’s not in the newsroom, Justine is reviewing a wide variety of books and interviewing authors about what makes them tick.
She has also been a member of award-winning teams at CBC Television with DRAGONS’ DEN, Test the Nation: IQ, and FORTUNE HUNTERS.
